NVIDIA Enables The World's First $99 HD Mobile Internet Device
Nvidia has announced that it plans to power $99 mobile internet devices with its Tegra 600 series chips, perhaps as early as this summer. What’s a mobile internet device (MID)? Well, it’s a gadget that fits somewhere in between a smartphone and a netbook. It’s compact and internet-enabled, but it can’t quite fit in your pocket or make phone calls. It’s primarily intended for web surfing and watching videos over a WiFi or 3G connection.
According to VentureBeat, Nvidia is touting both the long battery life and the HD video capabilities of these Tegra-based devices. General Manager Michael Rayfield says they can go for days without a recharge and they support 1080p HD video playback, which is the high end of what you’ll find streaming online.Nvidia plans to use both Windows CE and Android to power its cheap MIDs (although it appears as though the Windows CE-based versions will come first, with Android-based devices a more distant prospect). The $99 Tegra-based device is just the low-end of a product line that includes a $299 device (that also runs on an Intel Atom processor) and a $599 device that has more of the functionality you’d find in a regular laptop.
Part of me wonders whether Nvidia is trying to fill a niche that doesn’t really exist. If I want to surf the web, my smartphone does just fine - and I’m already paying a monthly data plan for it anyway (I certainly don’t need to pay for two). As for video, I’ll stick with my laptop since it can play DVDs, which are still the most reliable way to watch TV shows and movies.
It also doesn’t help that Nvidia plans to run Windows CE (really…Windows CE?). Android sounds more promising, though, especially with its greater potential to power netbooks and an array of smartphones all at the same time.

Use Your Cellphone As Copy Machine
Whenever you need them most, old clunky copy machines are always positioned on the other side of a building or outside at xerox shop. Plus, they’re always printing documents sideways, running out of paper, no electricity or are low on toner. Skip the hassle, and archive information the easy way. Just flip out your cellphone and take a few snapshots. You can refer to them later, they’re easy to delete, & they will cost you next to nothing.
Any cellphone with camera and data transfer ability can be used, I had practiced it on my Nokia 6300 which have 2 Mega pixel camera. In a Rush:
Imagine you’re at the local library scrambling to complete a research project at the last minute. However, a voice over the intercom has just informed you that the library will be closing in 15 minutes. You’ve found some solid reference material, but you don’t have any chance to use in the Xerox machine. Plus, you need to copy 20 or 30 pages of material. All you’ve got in your pocket is a cellphone. Don’t worry. Just find a good light source and use your phone’s camera!
Clarity of Photo:
Clarity is a must whenever you reproduce a document. If you’ve ever made a copy on a machine that’s low on toner, then you know exactly how important clarity is to your reproductions.
Without clarity, your documents are rendered worthless.
Therefore, it is essential that you take photos from an optimal distance when using your cell phone as a copy machine. In my experience, I can safely take photos of half of a page of material without the words on the page looking blurred or unreadable.
Also, I recommend that you take a snapshot at an angle where no shadow will be cast over a page, espcially when words are difficult to read close to a spine of a book. Additionally, pages will be easier to read later if you mark the divide of the page with your thumb or any other available marker, so that you will know where one photo’s information picks up from the last.
Transferring to Computer:Some phones are equipped with a mini USB port, and it is possible to upload files from your phone to your computer with the aid of a USB cable. This is fine if you don’t mind keeping track of the cable.
However, the best solution is to use your inbuilt Bluetooth of cellphone(if any) to pair with computer transfer the photos, Again this is possible when you have Bluetooth dongle attached to your PC. Which is available at Rs. 200 and above. Finally Save Time & Money:
Ultimately this trick would help in saving money and time both ! The condition is that you should have have sufficient light.
